CB500X Adventure Off-Road | Enduro | Getting Over Obstacles

In this series of videos, I am trying to get the Adventure Motorcycle Off-Road capabilities as close to Enduro as I can which is going to mean tweaking the bike and working on my skills. Getting over obstacles on the CB500X was an issue recently so I decided to try to learn how to do it. A lot of the video I saw was of guys on adventure bikes getting the front wheel over and then when the back wheel hit the obstacle the front wheel would slam into the ground. I knew trials and enduro guys don’t do it that way so I wanted to know how to land on the back wheel and be in control on an adventure bike.
After a bit of research, I found a method I liked by Chris Birch (KTM Enduro and Adventure Bike rider) where you remain in control without the horrible feeling of the front wheel hitting the ground and hanging onto the bike for dear life.
It’s early days but the practice is going well.
