Tenere 700 & KTM 390 Adventure: Big Bikes in the Sand – MVDBR Enduro #182

Nat & Josh decide to see how “Simpson Desert ready” they are by hitting some sandy trails. Turns out, not very. The little KTM 390 Adventure definitely has the upper hand on this sort of trail, with the heavier Tenere 700 struggling in the deep soft sand. As with the dirt, hopefully more off-road suited tyres will help. Pro tip: if you fall off in the sand, make sure you clean under your tank bag & straps. Any trapped sand will make short work of your shiny paintwork during the journey home.
