Trans Euro Trail, Day 3, North Wales heading South, Happy Valley and Bastard lane. XT660Z and KTM950

This is the third day following trans euro trail in north Wales, north to south. Day started on, a bit rainy fogy, nothing you woudnt expect in Wales… after few trails including one short stretch of super rocky lane (it doesnt look half as bad in a video) we reached Happy Valley… i dont think ill remember it as “Happy” as it wasnt happy for me at all.. only on the climb i dropped my bike 5 times… twice on the rocks, and twice one the slates, slipped once… Mike helped me twice and while doing so nearly dropped my bike, I wish he did drop it instead of stretching his back muscles while saving it.
So i cant say i enjoyed it, i think mainly because we did it before breakfast, fog, rain  and all thats stuff all came together and resulted in fairly bad moods too… after reaching town and enormous size full English breakfast things no longer looked that bad, and we managed to tackle Bastard lane with me dropping my bike only once on a big steep drop, obviously i did it in a style like no other too, and most importantly – i enjoyed it, well not a drop, but the challange!
The rest of the day was fairly smooth, few really nice valleys, nice easy going lanes with only handful a bit more difficult sections.
We covered another 125miles or so, and despite all the troubles in the morning, i think this day was best of all 4 days. Lots of views, lots of nice lanes, hated it in a morning, but the rest of the day was just super!
