Trans Euro Trail, Day 2, North Wales heading South, Barmouth Bridge. XT660Z and KTM950.

So the second day started quite well, really nice wheather to follow Trans Euro Trail and a first drop within the first mile. Some nice views and then the second drop into the water… some more nice views and few rocky lanes. and then gates, gates and more gates! Few more drops and i realised that i have no more energy also sun was getting hotter and hotter.. and one steep climb on the slates beat me up completely… having no idea how to deal with it, managed to drop my bike twice in there and then i overheated fighting it trying to get it moving forward while it just kept sliding backwards… Luckily Mike knew what he was doing so he pulled me out.. After a short break, and few more rocky lanes managed to pick the best line out of them all, and get stuck in a mud… lucky after that we had few relaxing lanes, few very scenic routes, Harlech Castle and worlds steepest street! few more nice lanes and drops – famous Barmouth Bridge (and yes it is allowed to ride over it)! few more scenic routes with a view of the same bridge from the distance, shame it was a bit rainy / fogy.

Overall a good day with lots of views, variety of different lanes and few drops in silly places, covered another 125 miles or so…
