How to remove and install motorcycle handlebar grips | No glue | Keep old grips
How to remove and install motorcycle handlebar grips without glue and keep old grips.
I have heated grips on my CB500X and I want to put off-road grips on instead. Off-Road grips are thinner allowing more grip and they are more comfortable over long periods of standing and moving.
I did not want to cut off the heated grips because I might want to reuse them at some point.
You don’t change street grips very often but replacing off-road grips is pretty common, they are a bit like tyres the more off-road they are the more often they need to be replaced.
I was looking for a way to keep the grips stuck to the bars without having to use wire as it cuts into the gloves after a while and can get uncomfortable.
